Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how Code Practice Hub ("we", "us", "the site") handles information when you use our website. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Code Practice Hub does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal information to use the practice tools. We do not maintain a user database.
- Local storage: Your code, notebook notes and selected language are saved in your own browser using
localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. - Code execution: When you run a compiled or interpreted language (such as Python, C, C++, Java or PHP), the code you wrote is sent to a third-party execution engine to produce output. JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL run entirely in your browser and are not sent anywhere.
- Contact form: If you send a message through the contact page, you provide your name, email and message so that we can reply.
- Server logs: Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
Cookies and advertising
This site may display advertising provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads).
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
How we use information
Information is used only to operate and improve the site, respond to your messages, display relevant content and advertising, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Children's privacy
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can clear your locally saved code and notes at any time by clearing your browser storage or using the in-app reset buttons. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some advertising features may then behave differently.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
